Like a design process frozen in time, the Dark Grey Offset vase is a distortion of the familiar rounded shape being cut. It challenges the idea of a vase and drastically changes appearance depending on the angles it is viewed from: From an imitation of a traditional vase to a sculptural object.

Offset is made from fiber concrete and comes in two sizes: Big (48cm Tall and Mini (30cm Tall).

As it is a hand glazed natural product, the colours may vary slightly and as it is not 100% waterproof, a bag for fresh flowers is included.

Material Spotlight

Fiber Concrete

Inspired by the Brutalism Architecture movement of the mid-20th century, fiber concrete has become the signature material of the 101 Copenhagen furniture collection. Emphasizing sculptural shapes, the texture of concrete creates a fine balance between sharp architectural lines and soft organic curves. Cast in lightweight fiber concrete, each product gets a unique tactile surface with small incorrections and nuances. The surface is afterwards coated, to create a strong and resistance product. Finally, the product is hand painted two times by brush, to create a brushed layered colour.
